2012 Living Traditions Festival

The annual Living Traditions Festival: A Celebration of Salt Lake’s Folk and Ethnic Arts is held at the Salt Lake City & County Building in downtown Salt Lake. The Living Traditions Festival is free to the public and presents the music, dance, crafts, and foods of the many ethnic communities that make Salt Lake City rich in its diversity.

 

Friday, May 18 - 5:00 to 10:00 pm
Saturday, May 19 - noon to 10:00 pm
Sunday, May 20 - noon to 7:00 pm


Finch Lane Gallery

Artists Brian Christensen and Oonju Chun exhibit their work in the Art Barn's Finch Lane Gallery, May 4 through June 15. Click here for more information.

 


2012-2013 General Support and Project Support

Applications for the Salt Lake City Arts Council's 2012-2013 General Support and Project Support categories are available to support artists, arts organizations, and others in a range of programs and projects occurring in Salt Lake City. The guidelines for grant applications describe the categories and their requirements. Completed applications for General Support and Project Support are due on Monday, June 11, 2012. Spring Newsletter

The Salt Lake City Arts Council's Spring newsletter, "54 Finch Lane," is now available. Included in this quarterly issue is information about the annual Living Traditions Festival, upcoming Finch Lane Gallery exhibitions, a comprehensive citywide cultural calendar (March through May) and application deadlines for arts grants, visual arts, and performing arts programs.
