Finch Lane Gallery Presents Artists Andrea Jensen, Carol Koleman, and Chauncey Secrist

Mixed media paintings by Andrea Jensen, a photography installation by Carol Koleman, and mixed media paintings by Chauncey Secrist will be exhibited in the Finch Lane & Park Galleries May 3 through June 14. An artists' reception will open the exhibition on Friday, May 3, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The exhibition will be open for the Salt Lake Gallery Stroll on Friday, May 17, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., for regular gallery hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and for a Closing Reception on Friday, June 14, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Public Art Opportunity Announced for Salt Lake City - Glendale Branch Library

The Salt Lake Art Design Board announces a call for Utah artists who are interested in submitting proposals for a public art commission at the new Glendale Branch Library located at approximately 1400 South Concord Street (1250 West) in Salt Lake City. The Library will be complete in October 2014. The artist's budget for this commission is $160,000. Proposal materials are now being accepted through 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2013.

2013 Spring Newsletter

The Salt Lake City Arts Council's Spring Newsletter is now available. Included in the quarterly issue is information on the 2013 Living Traditions Festival, upcoming Finch Lane Gallery exhibits, and a citywide calendar of arts events - many free to the public - scheduled March through May.
