2014 Brown Bag Concert Series Application
Applications for the the 2014 Brown Bag Concert Series are now available. Brown Bag presents free concerts during the lunchtime hour during the summer from August 4 through August 29. The series presents all disciplines of the performing arts.
Applications are due by 4:00 p.m. Friday, May 9.

The newsletter for spring 2014 is now available. This edition includes information on the 2014 Living Traditions Festival, exhibitions at the Finch Lane Gallery, updates on the Public Art Program and a calendar of events for April, May, and June.

The 2014 Twilight Concert Series needs the help of volunteers like you! Be a part of a spectacular summer event in downtown Salt Lake City (Thursdays thru July and August), and help with beverage sales, box office, gate greeting, trash control, and production. Volunteers receive one drink voucher per shift, one complimentary entrance ticket for every shift, and those who complete 3 shifts or more will receive a free T-shirt! The Bike Stops Here: Bike Artist Designed Bicycle Racks
Request for Proposals from Utah Artists
Application Deadline, Friday, April 18, 2014 by 5:00 p.m.
Commission: $3,000 per bike rack (artists may submit 2 designs for consideration)
Seeing the rapid growth of bicycling in Salt Lake City and the desire to encourage more people to choose cycling as a transportation option, there is an essential need and desire for safe and secure bicycle parking. To that end, and in the ongoing effort to weave art into the fabric of our urban infrastructure, the Salt Lake Art Design Board is seeking proposals from Utah artists to design and fabricate bicycle racks that are identifiable, functional, and imaginative.
Finch Lane Gallery Exhibitions March 14 - May 2
The new Finch Lane Gallery exhibitions open Friday, March 14, with an artists' reception from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Exhibitions include paintings by Annie Boyer, ceramics by Barbara Ellard, paintings by Jeffrey Hale, and Perspectives on Race: The Race Card Project. The exhibitions run through May 2.
