As Salt Lake City continues to grow and prosper, we're faced with all the challenges that come with this increased vitality. Transportation, transit and parking issues figure largely in this dynamic and finding the appropriate solutions to these new challenges requires a process that is thoughtful, inclusive and looks to both the best available data and the experiences of other municipal governments facing similar challenges.

Current proposed changes to the Salt Lake City parking are grounded in these principals and aimed at creating a system that is convenient, efficient and user-friendly for residents and visitors and contributes to the success of our local businesses.
