  On March 2, 2010, three Salt Lake City youth soccer clubs:  Impact United, Firebirds and Avalanche presented the City with a donation of $5,000 which will be used for the Salt Lake Regional Sports Complex environmental and Jordan River restoration plans.

On December 1, 2009 in recognition of World AIDS Day, the City Council joins Mayor Becker and the community for a moment of silence during a unified bell-ringing tribute in memory of those who have lost their lives to HIV/AIDS and individuals who are affected by the disease (click here to view more photos)


 

 

On November 17, 2009, the City Council, Mayor Ralph Becker and
