Salt Lake City Receives IEDC Silver Award for Eccles Theater / Regent Street Development

Salt Lake City has received the Silver Award for best Public-Private Partnership (among cities with 25,000-200,000 population) from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) for the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Theater/ Regent Street project!

Salt Lake City Council unanimously confirms Lara Fritts as Director of Economic Development

Lara Fritts, Mayor Jackie Biskupski’s appointee for Salt Lake City Economic Development Director, was unanimously confirmed Tuesday night by the Salt Lake City Council. 
 
Earlier in the day, the seven-member council interviewed Lara Fritts during its work session in its advice and consent role for executive appointments.
