Downtown Street to Host Festival on Saturday
    
SALT LAKE CITY – An eight-block stretch of downtown’s 300 South will become a temporary festival street on Saturday, May 4 for the debut of “Open Streets Salt Lake City,” a free event that will create room to walk, bike and enjoy this public space free from vehicle traffic.

SALT LAKE CITY – Mayor Ralph Becker and the City Transportation Division invite residents and local business owners to attend a kick off party announcing a program to broaden the use of streets as public space on Thursday, Feb. 7 from 4-7 p.m. at Squatters Pub, 147 West Broadway (300 South.)
