Salt Lake City Council adopts a lean and practical City budget of $273 million

Salt Lake City seeks public comment on proposed 2017-18 projects to be funded with Federal Dollars

On Tuesday, March 7, at 7:00pm, Mayor Jackie Biskupski will formally present to the Salt Lake City Council her recommendations for projects to be undertaken in 2017-18 utilizing federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Neighborhood Development (HUD). These programs include:

 

 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)

 

Salt Lake City Leaders Join to Launch Landmark Clean Energy and Climate Change Resolution and Initiative

Mayor Jackie Biskupski, members of the Salt Lake City Council, and leaders of the City’s various departments and divisions will come together Wednesday morning at 10:15 AM to launch a new clean energy and climate change initiative called “Climate Positive.” The initiative is the result of a landmark joint Mayor-Council Resolution that commits the City to new clean energy and climate change goals which the City Council is scheduled to vote on Tuesday.
