Twilight Concert Series adds King Chip as Special Guest for Kid Cudi Concert on August 22

SALT LAKE CITY –The Twilight Concert Series is pleased to announce that hip-hop artist, King Chip, will perform as main support for Kid Cudi on Thursday, August 22. The Ohio native is known for his frequent collaborations on mix-tapes as well as his halfspeed, southern-style of hip-hop. For more information, visit:

Originally known as “Chip tha Rippa,” King Chip has collaborated with some of the biggest names in hip-hop. Most recently, he has worked with Kid Cudi, A$AP Rocky, Bun B, Mike Posner and Kanye West. The rapper is currently working on his debut studio album.

The series runs July 18 through September 5 every Thursday evening, with special back-to-back shows scheduled for Wednesday, August 7 and Thursday, August 8. Gates and the Twilight Market open at 5 pm and music starts at 7 pm at Pioneer Park located at 350 West 300 South in downtown Salt Lake City. To complement the music, the Twilight Market offers food, beverages and locally made crafts, with something for every taste. Seating is first come, first served, and a person must be present at all times to reserve seating.

The Twilight Concert Series venue rules: no re-entry; no outside alcohol, beer and wine are available for purchase  on-site; no coolers; no backpacks or large purses; no pets, service animals are welcome; no outside food or liquids; no glass; no smoking except in designated smoking area; due to artist requests, no professional audio or video recording devices; due to artist requests, no professional photography equipment; no large beach umbrellas; low back concert chairs only; no skateboards (skateboards may be valeted at gate).
