Butte Creek Temporarily Diverted while LDS Church Repairs Water Line.

January 29, 2010:  A broken pipe line belonging to the LDS Church  at 15th E on Red Butte Creek has required the diversion of Red Butte Creek at Sunnyside.  The pipe is located 15 feet below the stream bed so the stream had to be dried up to make the project feasible.  This LDS Church project will require anther 10 to 12 days to complete.  Initiating the project now means less impact as the stream is at its lowest flow. The water diversion is temporary and will be restored with project completion.
